Richmond's new modern spa and wellness space, the most recent project of our client's, focuses upon creating a holistic and relaxing experience for each visitor. This meant that every detail, within and leading into this space, had to nurture a cohesive sense of serenity and a celebration of natural form.

The minimal yet elegant desert plantings reflect the west-facing, downtown location of the storefront. Embedded round boulders undulate through the planter, softened by grasses that both obscure and highlight specimens. It is a subtle honoring of the many configurations of life, a reflection of all who come in or pass by.
