An unassuming niche located along the façade of an office space near The Diamond serves as a microclimate for an experimental mix of annual and perennial specimen plantings.

Due to the office's highly industrialized setting, there exists a concentrated urban heat island effect, which allows for zone-pushing. Observations of plantings' persistence provide our team with informal data and inspires further play when generating planting palettes for nearby sites.
